Initial Meeting
Edna Carson and her husband Mike began their design experience the way all prospective Covert clients do – with an initial meeting that included a designer sketching a 1/8” plan and front elevation.
Gary and his team base the sketches off the goals of the homeowners that come up during the discussion. Changes and feedback are incorporated live. That’s something no other firm does.
Prospective clients can take these sketches with them, and there is no cost or obligation. To move further in the process, owners commit to buying a full set of plans.
Plan Refinement
After clients agree with the preliminary sketches, Covert + Associates creates ¼ inch drawings for review. Following signoff, the team completes construction drawings that are ultimately used by a builder to construct the home.
The timeframe for delivery of each set of plans can be two weeks or shorter and ultimately depends upon the timeliness of feedback from the client.
Remote Meeting Option
If clients are unable to meet at the office, Covert + Associates offers a webcam-based meeting format during which they can watch plans sketched online.
